EARLY LIFE:-

Mesut Özil was born in Gelsenkirchen, West Germany on 15th October 1988 in the home of Mostafa Özil.

 Özil practices Islam and also he recites Quran before his every match.He says that in that his teammates are also not allowed to talk with him.He also observes fast in the holy Month of Ramadan but he says that because of its profession he cannot Ramadan properly.He is one good example for Muslims.

CLUB CAREER:-

Ozil started his youth career by playing for various teams in his home town and after that he played for 5 years in Rot-Weiss Essen.After that he signed by Schalke 04 in 2005.There he started to come out as big playmaker but he was dropped by the club and was signed by Werder Bremen in €4.3M.In this club he scored 9 goals and 17 assists in 31 league appearances.

REAL MADRID:-

His major turn around in his career came when he performed good at Fifa World cup 2010 and was signed by Spanish Giants Real Madrid in amount of €15 million.Özil made his debut for real Madrid on 22 August.He was top on the charts of assists in 2012 with 17 assists.

ARSENAL:-

On 2nd September2013 Özil  was signed Arsene Wenger's Arsenal in £42.Five million for five year contract.After this transfer he was most expensive German footballer.He made his debut for Arsenal against Sunderland on 14th September 2013.

INTERNATIONAL CAREER:-

  He made his International debut for Germany on 11th February 2009 against Norway in friendly match.His biggest turn around came when he was selected in a German squad for Fifa World cup 2010 and there he started in all matches for Germans.
